One of the most gratifying things I did in my time at The Daily was design front pages. It meant being one of the last people out the door every night, but it came with the privilege of knowing that my work would be the first thing readers saw when they opened up the app. It often also meant having to pivot quickly as news broke throughout the evening. It was not uncommon for a cover to be designed and ready to publish, but at the drop of a hat, scrapped and replaced with something breaking. I enjoyed this challenge. Here are some of my favorites.
